The Benefits of Eating Plant Based

Eating plant based has truly improved my mind, body and overall wellbeing. For me, it is the best decision I ever made for my diet. Here are the key reasons why living plant based will help you truly thrive.

It’s cheaper if you cook meals consisting of whole foods such as beans, nuts, seeds, grains, tofu and tempeh. One of my meal prep recipes literally cost $15 altogether for 6 whole servings!

It is sustainable for the environment. Producing crops for human consumption creates a far less environmental impact compared to farming animals which require far more land, food and water.

It’s healthier for you especially with all the fibre and the lack of saturated fat in your meals! Being naturally high in fibre, complex carbohydrates and water content from fruit and vegetables – nourishing your body comes easily. By eating plant based you also greatly decrease your risk of killers such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease.
