These are tasty, tangy & addictive! These cauliflower wings (more like drumsticks) will change how you view cauliflower forever. I wasn’t a huge fan of cauliflower until I learned how to make this and now I actually find myself sometimes craving cauliflower. Crazy right?
Ingredients – serves 2
1/2 cauliflower, cut into florets
1/2 cup plain flour
1/2 cup soy milk
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt & pepper
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1.5 cups BBQ sauce
1 tbsp liquid smoke
1/4 cup water
Method
1. Make the batter: flour, soy milk, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt & pepper. Stir until smooth. Preheat oven to 175C.
2. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter and then into panko breadcrumbs.
3. Line a baking tray and bake cauliflower for 25 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, mix BBQ sauce with liquid smoke and water.
5. Coat baked cauliflower in the sauce and place back in the oven for a further 20-35 minutes.
6. Serve immediately with spring onion and sesame seeds.
